This is the view from my window looking out the front of the hotel. The sunken ruins of temples from 100-300 BC are the oldest in Rome and closed off to the public. It now serves as a cat sanctuary. Hotel Barret stands next to Teatro Argintina near the spot where Julius Ceasar was killed.
